Arthropods is the largest phylum by 84 percent. they are bilateral symmetry, they can walk, run, push, swim, fly and burrow. Their nervous system is present, they have a brain that bundles of neurons. They also have ventral nerve cords as well as a compound eye and antennas. Their digestive system is a one way system. They have specialized mouth-parts to obtain food. They have a fore-gut, mid-gut and hind-gut. They can be carnivores, herbivores , detritus feeders, filter feeders and parasites. Their excretory system is present, they use coxal glands that collect and excrete urine. Their circulatory system is opened and is a body cavity full of blood.
