Platyhelminthes is a flat worm. They are bilateral and move by contracting their muscles. They can also move using slime trails.They have very simple nervous system and there digestive system is two way. The excretory system has flame cells which function like kidneys and removes waste. Their circulatory system receives oxygen through diffusion. Their respiratory system absorbs oxygen through their skin, a soft bodied organism. They can be both sexual and asexual.

Turbellaria class have ciliated epidermis and sub epidermis, an example is a planarian.

Trematoda class feed on their host and are like flukes.

​

Cestods class do not have guts and are parasites, they are tapworms.
