the excretory system of a fish
removes nitrogenous waste which is ammonia from the blood which is created by the cells going through metabolism.

Salt water fish urinate very little
while fresh water fish urinate in large quantities.

Kidneys filter urea, excess salt
and excess water from the blood. while the liver filters ammonia to urea that goes through the blood stream to the kidneys.

urine is stored in the urinary
bladder until passed out the urogenital opening.

Fish also have swim bladder
which provides buoyancy this also help when going it the surface of going deeper into the water.

when fishing for fish deep down in
the ocean. if you use an electric reel it causes there eyes to pop out as well as there swim bladder to come out of it's mouth. this is because it doesn't give time for gas exchange which causes the swim bladder to expand.
