A nematoda is a bilateral flat worm. They feed on host organisms like cats, dogs, humans, and many other animals as well as plants. They move by contracting their muscles. Their nervous system has four peripheral nerves at the dorsal view there is the motor control, and in the lateral view there is the sensory and in the ventral view there is motor control as well and sensory. There is a ring that forms around the pharynx which is known as the brain. There is also sensory bristles on the body. Their digestive system is a one way system. They have sharp stylet in its mouth. Their intestines are lined by cuticle which is made in the rectum. Their excretory system is a complex system, it removes nitrogenous waste also known as ammonia. They have one pore cell, one duct cell, one canal cell and a pair of glands. The cell collects fluid which empties through the duct cells then joined at secretory-excretory junction. This then passes through duct to the outside of the body.  The circulatory system and respiratory system go through diffusion which obtains oxygen without using complexed organs. The skeletal system is absent. They reproduce sexually. A majority are dioecious and only has one sex but some are hermaphrodites.

Ascaris live in soil and is the most common infection. They live inside the intestines and their eggs hatch in feces. They can cause the intestines the get blocked or cause diseases.

Hookwooms hosts are small animals and humans. Their eggs hatch within the feces and they enter through the soles of feet.
